OUR STORY

A safe, therapeutic home for children to heal and grow.

Newpath Residential Homes was founded in 2019. We provide a nurturing, supportive home for children and young adults aged 11 to 18. Our team of dedicated professionals works together to ensure that each child receives the support and care they need to thrive. Established in 2019, Newpath Residential Homes was created with a vision: to provide a safe, therapeutic haven for children and young people in need. Founded by a Registered Nurse who saw the need for a service which considered emotions/mental health needs for looked-after children. Seaside House and Riverside House are services that go beyond conventional residential care, addressing the emotional needs of children in crisis or trauma and teaching them strong safety boundaries and self-love. The passion is to advocate for children in need through close, trusting relationships to keep them safe. The services are specific in supporting children with structured key programmes such as:

  • Mental health programme
  • Therapy / PACE and a more therapeutic approach.
  • Go it alone programme
  • Working with local Teams to safeguard children- and ensuring children's voices are heard.

Our Therapeutic Approach

We combine a nurturing home environment with planned, structured routines and access to therapeutic support. Every child has an individual plan built around their history, needs and goals.

Safe, stable home

  • Predictable daily routines and clear boundaries.
  • Warm, consistent relationships with key staff.

Therapeutic support

  • Trauma-informed, attachment-aware practice.
  • Access to therapy and clinical consultation.
  • Regular key-working and reflective sessions.

Life skills & education

  • Daily living skills: cooking, budgeting, self-care.
  • Preparation for independence and adulthood.

Who we support
